Indvidual Counseling
Individual Counseling is a method of treating mental health disorders using face-to- face, one-on-one interaction between a Mental Health Professional and a client to promote emotional or psychological change and to alleviate disorders. The approaches to treatment may include cognitive behavioral, narrative therapy, solution focused brief therapy or another widely accepted theoretical framework for treatment. Each counseling session will be held in a confidential setting which may include the person's served residence or the provider's office. Counseling will be goal directed utilizing techniques appropriate to the treatment plan and the person's served developmental and cognitive abilities. Services are provided by a licensed professional or an individual under licensure supervision.
Family Counseling
Family Counseling is a face-to-face interaction between the therapist and family members to facilitate emotional, psychological or behavioral chagnes and to promote successful communication and understand. Family counseling will be provided in a confidential setting which may include the residence of the person served or the providers office. Services are provided by a licensed professional or an individual under licensure supervision.
Case Management
Case Management services are provided to assist consumers in gaining access to needed mdical, social, educational and other sevices essential to meeting basic human needs. The Case Manager will provide referral, linkage, and advocacy on behalf of the person served. Each Case Manager is certified in the state of Oklahoma to provide this service.
Sex Offender Program
The Sex Offender program is designed to address the intergenerational patter of sexual abuse and to focus on aiding the person served in not re-offending. Persons served may have a criminal conviction of a sex offense. Referral may come from the Department of Corrections Probation and Parole or from the Department of Human Services. Groups are held once per week and the prgram is supervised by an ATSA Clincal Member.
Parenting Groups
Parenting groups for non-offending and offending parents. The goal is to increase the knowledge of effective parenting as well as provide educational information, guidance and support. This program is supervised by a licnsed professional.
